I feel like I'm losing the most weight in my legs, thighs, arms and boobs of all places. I was wondering what the best way would be to lose my belly fat and tighten it up.. I'm not looking for 6 pack abs just a slimmer and toner tummy area.

  • I've heard it over and over, Abs start in the kitchen. Eat clean and make sure you are doing core exercises a couple of times a week.

You'll see the following words all over these forums - "You can't spot reduce."

This means, unfortunately you can't target fat loss in one particular area, your body will reduce fat as it wants to, depending on your body type. You CAN strengthen your abs and core muscles, which can tighten up that area a bit, but to lose the fat that's being stored there, you have to continue in a calorie deficit to lose fat overall. You may be one of those people (like me) who loses the belly fat last.

Belly is the first place most people gain fat and will lose last...

Contrary to popular belief, you can't really "target" an area. Sadly, the only thing you can do is work out the muscle in that area so that it becomes larger (making a lower fat/muscle ratio).

With patience though, a proper diet and exercise will eventually get rid of the excess fat.
