In answer to your question, you can choose which ever path you think you can stick with. If you are looking for a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix, I'd suggest you just monitor calorie intake. That allows you to still enjoy the foods you love, just in moderation. You can choose whatever you want to eat, but will find that you make healthier choices, because those "bad foods" just aren't worth the calories anymore.
Trust me, it won't take long until you are seeing a new woman in the mirror. Not only physically, but mentally. This site and the community support are amazing.

Welcome and add me. My mini success story. Started walking briskly 6 weeks ago for 30 mins which was hard. Did 50 mins yesterday, then climbed 3 sets of stairs (3 floors) and felt fine. FEELING FITTER ALREADY!!!0
