is DELISH!
The only problem is that once I start eating it I can not stop and will usually end up having piece after piece after piece...
Should I just cut it out? Is there any essential vitamins/minerals in it or not?

i cut it out of my diet because its just like white bread... doesnt really have anything good for you in it, not even raisins are that GREAT for you, theyre just not bad.... and yeah if you binge eat on it then definetly...

Never had it??? Just bread with rasins in?? If so try something like chick pea flour, or what ever works for you xx

If you binge on them, why not just have a special slice on Sundays ?? Just a thought xx

I buy gluten-free raisin bread, smear on a little low-fat cream cheese, & then top it off with a teaspoon each of flax seeds and hemp seeds...
  • I went to buy a loaf of that this week.. but then decided I didn't want to eat a loaf of bread lol

If it's absolutely something you can't live without, I'd recommend eating Ezekiel Cinnamon Raison Bread. It's still bread, of course, but perhaps marginally better for you. It has no HFCS, which most raisin breads do, and has pretty high protein, lower carbs, all organic, and is really quite tasty!

Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin bread is exactly what I was going to suggest! I keep a loaf in the freezer for when I absolutely have to have a sweet treat. It is definitely not a health food or an everyday food, but I love that it provides a little fiber and is relatively low-cal (70 cal/slice). I toast mine, put a pat of Smart Balance on it, and sprinkle it with cinnamon (I think the extra cinnamon ups the sweetness of the bread!) Reallllly delicious!

I don't bring anything into the house I know I can't control myself with. Raisin toast and butter is just too good. Leave it at the store. :flowerforyou:

Yeah, I would say just cut it out. I love it too, but it's not essential or beneficial to your health. Maybe buy it occasionally?

Yeah i've had to ban raisin bread from my house as i too can't stop once i start. In fact i think raisin toast with butter would be my food of choice if i was stuck on a desert island and could only eat one thing for the rest of my life...
