Well maybe more of a PMS question. Does anyone else have issues with PMS as far as feeling tired(not just grouchy lol)? I have really been paying attention to my body the last 3 months or so and realized that 2 weeks before TOM I get hungrier followed my fatigue(towards the beginning of the week before TOM) then I just miserable when TOM is here. FOr the first couple days, I dont wanna exercise but I do try. By the 3rd day Im back to normal with energy and feeling like I can do this weighloss thing. Its goofy! Does anyone do or know of anything that helps?

There are certain foods that are supposed to help you. Part of the 17 day diet has a whole chapter on TOM and what to eat. It includes higher sugar fruits, oatmeal, higher fiber cereal, whole grain bread, legumes, potatoes, corn, barley, brown rice. This helps pms and cramps. Take out all soda, pm carbs, and salt and caffeine. Hope this helps..0

this TOM does get around alot of women on here!!!
But back to subject i get way more hungrier over that time of the month and also over ovulation too! JOY......
if you write it on a calender every month when you feel hungry and when you feel picky its always the same times! grrr so i'm afraid to say you are stuck with TOM until he decides to leave you for other women! :blushing:0 -
While I am past the stage you describe now, and on to a whole new set of issues, I did experience similar things in my cycle. The two weeks post-ovulation were bad in many ways, including what you have described. I am not a vitamin or nutracuetical pusher, and have never in other situations actually felt better for taking herbs or vitamins. However, in this case on the advice of my doctor I started taking a vitamin B complex supplement. The difference was HUGE and almost immediate. I took it daily and continued to take it for several years. It continued to work for me.0

Thanks. I actually started to take Womans one a day Active. It has Zinc(heard is good for hormones) and B6 and B12 for energy. I hope I see some improvement!0
