Here's what I have to work with:
5 oz salmon with skin (I think!)
margarine spread and/or olive oil
basic spices, nothing fancy
lemons
very limited cooking ability

(Also have potatoes, squash, rice, quinoa for possible side items)

So, uh, what do I do with it??
Thanks!

Hi, thats a lovely dinner. You don't need the margarine. Grill the salmon with salt and pepper for just 10 minutes (don't over cook it as it gets dried out).
boil some potatoes in their skin or rice.
and you have a nutritious and tasty dinner.
  • Ooh also don't have a grill. Stovetop or oven. But not sure of what temps or times to cook it at. (I need to learn to cook...)

Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and use some cooking spray or butter to line it. Put Salmon (fresh or frozen) skin down. Top with spices to taste. Squeeze lemon juice on top. Add 1/4 cup water. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove and enjoy.

This method effectively steams the salmon and makes it incredily juicy and tasty.

wrap all of that in a piece of tin foil and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

You can wrap the salmon and lemon slices in foil.
Here's a basic recipe you can use for temps and times.
