I started the Couch to 5k running program sometime in late July this year and as of today just a few minutes ago, I am now a graduate of the program and able to run for 30 minutes straight, no problem! :drinker: I just wanted to post this for people doing the program to encourage you that yes, it CAN be done! Stick with it and just remember how good it feels to make progress! Now off to drink my chocolate peanut butter milk and enjoy!

Yes, it gets harder on week 6, no doubt about it, but as with the whole program, your body keeps increasing it's capacity to do more with each rest period after your last run. You can do it!

Each week that increases the difficulty will worry you to some degree, you just have to use mind over matter and just don't stop unless you are experiencing sharp pain. I find that the pace of the program was very well done and I never had to repeat any weeks myself, but don't worry if you do, as long as you stick with it and keep trying you are sure to succeed! :drinker:

Congratulations....I started c25k in late June and will start Week 7 tomorrow. Had to repeat some of the weeks till I conquered them successfully. Hoping to achieve my first goal successfully Friday evening...which is to run the "Mom's 1 mile run" at my sons' cross country team's annual family event. I'm a little nervous even though I know I can jog a mile.

Awesome job! I am doing week 5 now and it looks so hard and intimidating, but if I look back at how far I've come, it amazes me. Soon I will be posting my "graduation" success as well :-D
