Hi everybody! I have been using MFP for several months now but never added any friends, but would like to start to have some extra motivation and see others being successful in their goals. I am 5'3'', 144 pounds hoping to lose 15 pounds and get back into all my old clothes! I am like most women, my weight goes up up up and then down and then back up :-) would love to be able to get back to where i am most comfortable and STAY THERE lol Hope everyone has a great day! and good luck.

Sounds like we have some similar boats. 25yoa 5'3 and right now I am running 157-155lbs. I would like to be 140, but once I get there I suspect I will want to keep going.
I love adding friends on MFP. I only keep friends who log on regularly, and I like it when they use the social aspect of MFP- the community posts or writing and commenting on each others "walls" because even when I am being lazy or having an off day, it's nice to see what everyone else is doing and get some encouragement.
Anyone can add me0 -

Hi, I'm not new to weight problems, in 2009 I had lost 84lbs through Slimming World UK, I have now regained 42lbs and it's time to stop! The last 2 years were very difficult, in 2009 I developed late onset asthma which required steroid treatment, last summer my mum was diagnosed with cancer and I put my life on hold to care for her which meant moving 500 miles away from my home and husband for 10 months. Mum put up a good fight but sadly we lost her in March after a 10 month battle. I'm not making excuses for my weight gain, it was up to me to make the right food choices and I failed to do so. But now it has to stop! So watch this space,0
