So, I ran a 5k for the cure today. I set myself a goal of 35 minutes since I normally run 36 minute miles, I wanted to push myself. Anyways I ran it today in 34:28 which I was very excited about. Needless to say that after starting running four weeks ago, and not being able to breathe or run then, to do this today was a major accomplishment. I never thought I'd love running, but I totally do and hopefully by this time next year I'll be doing half marathons+

    That is incredible! Great job!
  • Congratulations! I just started the C25K on Friday and have been surprised that I actually enjoy it. I've never had any interest in running until now. The first day was tough, but this morning was easier. Keep us posted on your marathon goal.

    YES *** EXTREME CAUTION***

5K's lead to 10K's which lead to half marathons then full marathons. Fair warning ... you may run right into an addiction problem.
