We all know we joined this site because we want to lose,gain, or maintain our weight ( or whatever other reason). But why don't we get to know more about each other. So I'll start off:

Well my name is Crystal I'm african american and I have two older sister (I'm the youngest) I am a full time student and I also work. I love hair..I love doing hair,learning about it etc. I'm not into fashion but I love accessories (Jewelry,purses,shoes,sweaters). I don't watch any sports besides baseball.I don't have friends...just people I talk to here and there. I live in a citiy in New York. I'm kind, very loving, positive and silly. I strive for perfection(I dislike that about me). Ummm I think that's all,....Your turn

    Im a very generous person, I have a sister who moved to perth from the UK 2 years ago who wants nothing to do with me, I enjoy golf and am very proud of both of my kids.

    Hi I'm Shannon, I'm 20 years old and am a stylist...I'm currently studying at Paul Mitchell The School but have worked on and off as a makeup artist for 5 years. I like all things artistic, music (played classical piano since age 7) painting, fashion, sewing...my favorite creation as of late is my furry skirt I made. I'm currently living in downtown San Diego...ummm yeah that's about it!!

    I am Lotte, I am Brittish! I live in a town called Hemel Hempstead, just North West of London.

    I love my rugby as well as my job! I too am the youngest of three girls and enjoy shopping.

    I can't stand fashion as i think not only is it an advocate fo tthe size zero, I also think it encourages people to pay huge amounts for something they could get at a budget price in the shop next door. (saying that i do have over 100 pairs of shoes)

    I love my curves, i just think they have got a little out of hand recently, so here I am!

    I work nights at a wal-mart down the street from me, I have a younger sister by 2 years and a younger brother by 12. I've been married for 4 years this December and my husband and I are planning to move to china.
    When I'm not at work I play games or work on my art. I also love to bake cakes.

    im a married mother of 2 little girls. SAHM. i met my husband online and moved from utah to seattle to be with him. we just bought a house and my inlaws live with us because theyre both disabled and their finances are royally screwed right now. all my family (two younger sisters, mom, grandmas, uncle, aunt and cousins) still live in utah and we try to get out there once a year to visit. its a fun drive!

    My name is Edward, and I live in Hattiesburg, MS. I'm a 25 year old nerd that likes computers, video games and buying books. I have one older brother. As a younger kid I used to be skinny, then puberty hit, developed a monstrous appetite and gained lots of weight. Now I'm skinny again and going to keep it that way... although I'd like to tone up a bit more though. For now I work as a Software Developer so I sit around for long hours of the day, so I make sure to keep activate after I get off work. I think that's mostly it.

    i am kathy...oldest of 4 siblings and trying to become the person i know i can be. not perfect but just a good and loving perdon. i have a very dry-smart *kitten* sense of humor that most people do not get. i inheritated this from my father....who i think is the best! i am very nurturing and should have had children....but waited too long to realize this. i am very close to my family and have some of the best friends in the world. i am not giving up on this jouney until i suceed ...oh and if you are reading this....not the best speller or typer in the world. have a fantastic boyfriend who loves me for me! love almost every sport...especially basketball and football. could not live without music! next!

    I'm Venessa. I am a mother of 4 children, three of whom I acquired by marriage. I love to relax and enjoy the finer things in life. I like being around positive and up beat people. I find it necessary to think about my life and reflect on it. I want to lose weight and fee comfortable in my skin and clothes. I have a husband who adores me...just the way that I am. I like me and where I am in life but know that there is always room for improvement.

    Hi everyone! I'm Nisa. I'm 21 and a senior in college majoring in psychology emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. My second passion is designing clothes. I play video games for the fun of it. I love football and running. I am born and raised in California. I like to self learn and everytime I hear something I never heard before or is interested in learning I will research whatever that is until I know it and learned it. I love words. I'm a super organized person. I read all the time. I found a new hobby in which I love: MFP lol... I have a busy life and I am planning to move to NY or Chicago to develop my future career(s). :)

    Hi all, I'm Polly. I am 56, going on 39 ;) I have two adult daughters, a fabulous 4-yr-old grandson, 5 sisters and 2 brothers! I've been single for a number of years, and it's been very good for me (after a very difficult marraige.)

    I love music......I sing at church, with a 6-piece Dance band, in the shower, in the car, and generally to myself whenever a song is on that I like (is that annoying to non-singers??? lol)

    I live in northern Minnesota, and I generally love this area. I adore walking on a crispy fall day, I am getting into snowshoing, love to dance and act silly and go to plays and parties. Of course, I love to eat........but am getting closer each day to the weight on my driver's license (yeah, I lied pretty big on that one ;)

    I love Football and am a Vikings fan......and I hope to heck that we kick the Bear's buttinskis tonight! I love MFP, and the way it's changing my life..........this place has been such an inspiration to me, and I FINALLY found out it's not HARD to lose weight!!!

    I'm Rachel. I'm a bit of a travel addict (visited 11 countries in 4 years - all before I was 23). I studied in Germany and Austria during college and lived in Rome for seven months from Aug '10 to March '11.
    I actually put this in the random facts thread yesterday, but I triple majored in college. I studied Intercultural Studies, have a BA in both trombone and piano, and also minored in German. Yes, what you're thinking is correct: I had no life in college :embarassed:
    Mmmm I've lived in 7 different cities in the 6 years since college: a small town in the Adirondacks in NY, my hometown in western NY, 3 places in CT, Springfield, MA, Rome, and now Charlottesville, VA. The whole time in CT and Mass I had the same job, I just moved for cheaper rent :laugh:
    Right now I'm trying to find some piano students and also get approved for Substitute Teaching. I like teaching and probably should have gotten an education degree, but for now subbing will do. I enjoy the randomness of it.

    Edit: I'm also a huge soccer fan: AS Roma, New England Revolution, Arsenal, and the US National Team!

    My name is Crystal too! I'm 23, and I work as a research specialist and lab manager in a genetics lab at a university. I got my undergrad there and worked there for the past few years, though I plan to attend graduate school and get a PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology or something thereabouts (still looking at diff. programs). I have a mom and a sister, and I consider my moms boyfriend a father figure because he is an amazing man. I have an SO that I have been with for 7 years, two ball pythons and a bearded dragon, and one day I would like to have a cat. I love to talk to people, love to make new friends, and generally try to be an amazing person :p

    My name is Christina and I have 3 siblings,4 kids,1 dog and a husband. I'm mexican and love my brown skin. When I was younger,it wasnt so cool to be brown. I LOVE my children & may be a bit controlling but Im working on that. If you come to my home I would ptobably cook for you then send you home with more food! My house is messy because I would rather be outside playing!

    I'm Robyn. I am australian but live in the US. I am a neuroscientist and I work at a university. I am a real introvert so I don't really have friends - I'm quiet and that seems to get interpreted as being stand-offish, which sucks! I find social activities tiring and difficult. So I'm online a lot...

    I play golf (extremely badly) because my boyfriend got me into it. Now I'm hooked.... I drink coffee by the bucket and eat a lot of baked goods and other desserts. I ate a whole pint of Ben and Jerry's today. Alas.

    Hey there... I'm Illy... I'm 40, and a single mom of 3 great kids (18, 15, 11)... I work @ the Police Dept... and I'm also trying to hold a second part time job, which is killing my time with my kids... I'm originally from MD and presently live in Miami... I am trying to get healthier and look better.. It's a total challenge, but one that I don't mind doing... I enjoy music, football, basketball, dancing, baking, and just living life... Not dating anyone, bc I haven't met anyone that challenges me... Family/Friends are the most important ppl in my life...

    Hello everyone!!!

    My name is Christy and Im from Delta Bc canada. I am the only girl of seven kids. My dad was a busy man LOL. 3 boys from the first marrige, myself and my brother with the second, third marrige 2 boys. Although alot are half brother still brothers just the same. Ive always wanted kids and I have 3 boys 5, 7 and 10 I love them to peices. I have been with my one and only for 16 years and he has been the only one first everything, we are not married kids happen to come first but we are planning on getting married. I work at my kids school as a noon hour supervisor and cross gaurd as well as a hairdresser. I love my life but want to feel healthy and teach my children a healthy life so here I am :):wink:

    Hi my name is Sharon. I live in Texas and I am an RN. I have been married for 12 years to the most wonderful man. I have three kids, twin boys that are 25 and an 17 year old daughter. I had my twins at 16 so I will be starting my second childhood as soon as my daughter graduates. Woo Hoo!

    My husband and I love to camp, travel, hike, bike and run. We do everything together. We don't really have any close friends because we love to be with each other all if the time.

    I'm a very thoughtful and generous person (I get this from my dad) I love old movies like grumpy old men and old chevy chase movies. I love music; hip hop, pop and dance. I am a little obsessive compulsive and so is my husband so it works out perfect for us. 

    Anyways that's me. 
