Yoga Videos...?

Good morning, friends.

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on good yoga videos? I'm looking to do a bit more yoga in my free time (increase flexibility and such).

Thanks for your time.

My favorite dvd is AM/PM yoga with Patricia Walden and Rodney morning session to waken and revitalize and evening calm your spirit. 20 minutes each. No impossible twisting and balancing, just good old stretching and toning

Also try yogayak on youtube. It's hatha so gentle and stretchy yoga and super good for stress :)

I love AM/PM though and love the way rodney speaks

Is it good for increasing flexibility?

That's a mighty big concern of mine.

both am/pm and Yoga yak (they have many many videos up) are good at increasing flexibility.

There are all different types out there depending on what you want to get out of it.

Great luck on your yoga journey. It has been a great thing for my body (and my mind LOL)

Eoin Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness is my favorite yoga DVD. There are 2 DVD's in this workout, with multiple variations of workout times. Just the titles alone will tell you that it will increase your flexibility. My favorite is Magically Hips. That workout really makes your hips feel great afterwards. Almost forgot that this is available on Amazon.

I used to do a regular iyenga yoga class and that really improved my flexibility so if you can find anything on that it could be helpful. see if your local library has any in stock for you to try first before you go out and buy one, as what is suitable for one person may not be for another.

if you have access to a wii the yoga on the wii fit is good too x

I prefer short (more frequent) yoga workouts. I have a couple of "go to" yoga DVDs that I like:

AM Yoga for Your Week with Rodney Yee. This has 5 twenty+ minute workouts. One twisting, one standing, etc.
Yoga Body Makeover with Sara Ivanhoe. This also has 5 twenty minute workouts + a 40 minute yoga/ball routine.
