Anyone have a specific nut that keeps them full and has actually helped them lose weight in the long run? I keep reading about healthy fats being good for you and actually helping to lose bad fat. I just started eating cinnamon roasted almonds. They are so good! I also bought some walnuts. My husband loves cashews.

I tend to avoid having nuts around since they are so calorie dense and I never get that "stave off hunger" effect that I keep hearing they have. I can smash 2000cal of cashews in 20 minutes and still be hungry.

I snack on almonds almost every day at work. I have a big container at home and weight out exactly one serving into a container and bring it to work every day. They are calorie dense so you have to watch your portion size; however, they are ridiculously good for you. I don't know if they helped me lose weight or not, I just like the taste of them! I also don't worry about fat grams when they are coming from healthy sources. I am almost always over in fat daily due to my nut snacking and I have still managed to lose almost 30 pounds.
