next step

We all have our stories and reasons for being here and I am sure mine is no differen't that alot of others.
Life stresses like my daughter moving out and into her 1st home, my Dad's passing, and other daily challenges.
Of course there are health issues as well.
I had a stent placed in one of my arteries and a blood pressure that reached 233/150.
The weight gain from constant stress and meds, where one of the first side effects is weight gain.
The comfort foods, the nice relaxing glass of wine..

Now it's time to get my life back and under control.
I am now 6 weeks smoke free. My first challenge.
Now it's time to loose this weight..
From what I have read .. this looks like a great new place to start. To get info and the the most important..support.
Can't wait to get started.
Cheers

Good post and good luck. Just lost my mom and decided to get back to being healthy and enjoying myself. This seems to be a great place to start.
