so i went to the dr. today to get lab results back from the cholesterol panel i had done and i was pleased. first i have to explain to you that my family has a history of heart disease and my grandmother and my uncle both died from strokes. every since the very first time i had my cholesterol checked ( 25yrs old) it has always been very high. like well above 200 as a matter of fact it was always at about 290-95. my cholesterol has been like that since i was 25. so when she told my cholesterol today was at 204, i was a little proud of myself, keeping track of what i eat and exercising is starting to pay off. i'm almost under 200. i am pleased with the progress i am making. i really owe it all to MFP and all the success stories that read daily, that is what keeps me motivated. now hearing that my cholesterol is coming down is another boost for me to keep it up and keep going. thanks for the help.
