I have not done 1 with my children & husband but husband & me done some. They are great but we still have not put them on the wall & it cost loads.
  • Define family picture!

Just the four of us, sure. I love having the pictures and we have a great camera with a tripod and timer, so cost is not an issue.

Our last "family" picture was a reunion on my husband's side, he grandma wanted it done. 4 generations and 30 ish people (with 12 not able to make it to town.) It was a NIGHTMARE.

ugh! i can relate. my hubby's grandma wants a picture taken every year at family reunion time, but she wants spaces left to photoshop in all the people who are missing. it takes forever to get right and everyone is frustrated by the time we are done.

It's fairly great. Our immediate family has a photo done every year around Christmas time - not by a professional, but nice. At my sister's wedding this summer, 21 of us got into a single photo without any issues - twice that weekend.
