Trimmed, Shaved, or As Is?!
I asked this question a while back ago as I decided to rid myself of chest hair. I decided to try the Nair method and well, yeah.....If you are a person who has to try things yourself instead of listening to all the advice given to you then have fun. I should have listened and just wow. Important note: Never put nair on your nipples........
Anyways, I'll ask again.
Guys, what do you prefer to do? What have you tried? What works for you?
Girls, what do you prefer your husband, fiancee, boyfriend to do?

Less is more, in my opinion, but my question would be, when it grows back, wont it be all prickly? itchy??? Not sure how much chest hair you have, but is there a reason you want to get rid of it????0

I LOVE chest hair. I think it's sexy! Guys with none look like little 12 year old boys in my opinion. Gross.
KEEP THE HAIR!0 -
This made me cringe just thinking of Nair on nipples. I used it on my legs once and had an allergic reaction. I sat crying for an hour while I waited for the store to open so I could get something to stop the burning.
I like as is because my man has no chest hair0 -
trimmed or shaved :-]0

I love man hair!
It is they way you were made. However, if you are in bodybuilding competition you have to take it off.
I'm sort of a "leave it the way it is" gal except for legs. I like to shave those but the question wasn't about me.
I vote, leave it there.0 -
Love, love, LOVE the chest hair. I'm actually a little grossed out by guys with smooth chests, it's as if they're still waiting on puberty. Leave it be.0

For me it depends on the chest hair, short and smooth hairs i don't mind. Long and or curly ones... :frown:0

Ooooh, Nair on nipples. Ouch. So sorry you learned that one the hard way.
My guy's an ape, but I don't mind his chest hair (even though it's more of a chest RUG ...) However, he draws the line at having a hairy back, so he shaves it down regularly. The total smoothness only lasts for a day or two, but it helps regulate his body temp, especially during summers, and it does take a while for the entire rug to grow back. He uses the Gillette Mach 3 razor with disposable blades.
The upside is that my guy also has the longest, thickest, lushest lashes any girl could ever dream of ... his sister always whines about how she missed out on THAT gene.
I've dated guys who were hairless either naturally or via manscaping, and I just can't get over it -- a bit icky for my taste. I don't need to date someone as smooth as (or smoother than) me!0 -
i dont like chest hair.0

If women preferred a hairless body, let them get caught chasing 10 year old boys...
Also, note: When trying something new...READ THE DIRECTIONS. It Helps you not be an asshat0 -
My other halfs nickname is Bear for a reason. haha. (;0

OUCH about the nipples!
I like all manners of chests, hairy or hairless. My husband trims a bit, but I'm okay with thick 'n' wooly as well.0 -

It doesn't itch like you would think. For anyone who watched the Sinfield epispode where they had the muffin stumps it's NOTHING like that.
And it does not grow back thicker. A lot of people have that belief but it doesn't, promise.
I did it because I wanted to. Gotta try everything once really and I liked it, minus the nair, so I actually still do it.0 -
MANFUR FOR THE ULTRA WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

I think I can relate with the crying for an hour part.
It's a major toss up for whats worse? Icy Hot or Nair on the nipples. The Nair stayed with me a lot longer, couple of days, but I run around screaming if I ever use Icy Hot.0 -

Even though you may deal with some added razor burn with razors that have fewer blades, you deal with less ingrown hairs. That is by far the worst part about doing it the first few times.0 -
Lol a shirt that's a little unbuttoned and lots of chest peeking out is creepy looking.. But I guess it doesn't matter as long as it's very little of it0
