OK - for some reason - today I could eat my desk!!!! I've eaten my normal daily stuff - but I'm trying not to dive into my salad because I still have a few hours of work and then I have to go home. I have a few hours before dinner and don't want to eat everything that's not tied down.

I'm drinking my water because I've heard that sometimes when people feel this way it could be a sign of dehydration.:drinker:

I know I ate enough last night - made a nice dinner too - pork roast in the slow cooker with veggies.

Anyone else ever feel this way? Any advice?

  • oh yea!!! I felt like that yesterday!! baasically what I do is drink as much water as I can handle until my teeth hurt and then I have some Club Multi-grain crackers because 4 crackers are 70 calories, so not enough to really hurt my calories if I go over. Usually by that point I feel MUCH better after drinking so much water! I hope this helps! :drinker:

When I eat later in the evening than I am used to I find I am hungry all day the next day...I also get that way when I have PMS. Usually a magnesium supplemet helps. It could be a sign that your metabolism is changing too...just don't go too long without food. This is where almonds come in handy. They are an excellent snack and have theability to take you from one meal to the next without adding too much to your calorie count. Good luck!

I have those days too. Almonds are a good tip if you can really stick to a handful, but I find that hard sometimes. Try some herbal tea- green tea, black tea, white tea- or even a cup of coffee. All are known to supress hunger and I find having something warm satisfies me when water isn't working.

Thanks guys! I will definately try the almonds and the crackers - because I dove into my salad. I was thinking about the tea just for something different than the water - but don't worry - I'm still drinking the water too! I just don't know where this came from. I was thinking last week that the change in diet - what I was eating as opposed to what I started eating - I felt really full - but it is almost that "time" too - maybe that has something to do with it???
