Hey everyone! So here I am again.... attempting a new thing! Hopefully one that will work for me! I have many reasons for wanting to get back to the "old me". I still can't believe where 25kg have found me in the last 4yrs... Yikes!!! This seemed to pile on when I entered a relationship (guess I'm not alone in this one ha ha) Truth is I'm addicted to food... once I finish a meal I'm thinking about the next one. MFP seems like an easy and fun way to monitor what I eat and when I exercise. Goal weight is 66kg and I know i won't reach this by the 11th of Feb but the closer the better... I'm getting married this day and I want to feel the most beautifuliest and sexiest I ever felt!
Best thing about MFP is Im not alone in this I've got all you guys to help achieve my goals and yours to!
Peace!! :)

@j_skinny_b - if you are into podcasts - check out 'fat2fitradio.com' - it is a great podcast based on sound science and research. That may help you

Welcome to MFP! This site has been an enormous help for me, there's nothing like a bit of friendly competitiveness to help you stick to your targets, plus friendly empathetic advice here in the forums. The best of luck to you on your new regime and congratulations on your forthcoming nuptials! :)

It is! That's the beauty of using the calorie counting and food database here, in my opinion -- it's actually a good thing to be thinking about the next meal. I'm just maintaining now, but when I was actively losing weight I would plan my meals for the day and most of the time I would go ahead and log them. I could always correct the entry later if I needed to, but it worked really well for me to be able to plan it out ahead of time and just follow the plan. Good luck to you, and congratulations on the upcoming wedding!
