OK. I have twins who are now 5. They were HUGE. I mean 6lbs 8oz and 7lbs 2oz. and I'm 5 foot 3in. I am going in for a consult today to hopefully get the excess skin removed from my stomach... I am not yet at my goal weight but this issue is part of what caused my downslide last time... the more weight I lose the worse it looks instead of better... anyone done this? I would appriciate any input.

bump! I've had 4 kids... last pregnancy #3 was twins, they are now 2 and I am definitely having a hard time with all the stomach skin good luck and I can't wait to see everyone else's reply!0

If I was you, I'd wait to be at my goal weight. I'd be gutted if I didn't look amazing at my goal weight after all the hard work. Think of how happy you'll be to be at your goal weight and have the excess skin gone. If you do it before that, you might give up on losing weight because you'll love looking the way you will without the skin.0

Thats just it. I was... but I'm active duty army and trying to get them to pay for it... so it has to be done when I have time at the location that I'm at... I've already lost most of my belly fat. there is where i lose first...0

As long as you are within 20 pounds of your goal weight, you should do fine with a tummy tuck. You can gain or lose up to 20 lbs without causing any "damage" to the tuck.0

Make it a self esteem issue and they will probably do it for you. In the AF, I know of many that have had procedures done because of the self esteem factor. If that does not work, then get it done. It made a world of difference for me!0

Well if you're confident that you're 'belly fat' is mostly gone then go for it. Just use bio oil if you can after to increase the elasticity of your skin, so you dont get horrible marks or anything.0
