Okay i'm not much of a cooker which would explain why I have no clue what hummus is however everyone seems to love it, so could someone please tell me what it is and where I can buy it.

I live in a small town and our towns only grocery store doesn't have many different choice but there is a wal-mat 15 minutes away.

Hummus is ground chick peas, a dash of olive oil and garlic, and lemon juice, blended together -
It makes a great dip, fairly low in cals, and high in fiber. A 8 oz tub costs about $3 at walmart.

I love Hummus, I had never tried it prior to starting with MFP. I like to dip celery sticks in it. I also eat it on sandwiches. Good stuff, there are lots of yummy flavors

I am a recent hummus convert as well! I love it too! I especially like the spicy ones :)
I dip carrots in it because I don't want to use that many calories on chips. I think I'm becoming stingy with my calories, lol!
