I prefer late-night workouts now (around 7 or 8 at night), and l tend to have my dinner about 5'oclock then after l have worked out, l will have a low-fat yoghurt and another class of water. Does it make a difference if l eat before working out or will it be better if l had dinner after a workout? Thank you!

It doesn't matter when you eat, more what you eat. As long as you are creating a deficit you are good. That said, I can't workout on a full stomach. If this is a solution that works with your life, then awesome and keep doing it!0

I usually give myself and hour or two between eating and a workout just to keep things from sloshing around in the tummy. Nausea + workout = yuck.
I workout at night also.0 -

Definitely eat before your workout! Burn your dinner before bed0

I think if it works for you, keep doing what you're doing!! Congratulations on the weight loss, that's amazing!!
I have read in several places that eating some amount of protein and carbs within 20-30 minutes after your workout helps build muscle: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/nutrition/a/aa081403.htm
I also thought i read that your body processes sugar better after rather than before a workout, but I can't remember where I read that so I would take that with a grain of salt.
But again, what you're doing is working and we all have to work around our busy schedules! Congrats again!!0 -

In terms of how it effects your weight loss, it won't matter outside the context of how your eating schedule effects your performance during workout.
So, best strategy is to structure your eating around lifestyle and what makes you work hardest in the gym.0
