Hitting the Gym - Day or Night?

I've work out usually in the morning. Stregth training - cardio. Sometimes trade it up with circuit training. Always with my MP3 player full of work-out music. Whenever I do, I try and mix it up so not to get bored or fall into a routine: Free weights/Machines - Stair stepper/ Eliptical. I find I sleep better, am more alert and energized during the day and have more stamina.
How about those of you that work out in the afternoon or evening - what works for you?

For me it depends on the day, but as long as I get my workout in 6 times a week I'm good to go.0

I don't have a certain time. I am going this morning. Sunday I went at about 4 in the afternoon, lots of days I do my cardio at about 8pm. Just whenever I can fit it in, and how I feel.0

I try and swap it around, my meal times are very erratic however... i think meal time has a lot to do with the ideal workout time... i do two night sessions and one morning session per week.0

Well, I have to be at work by 6:30am during the week, so I don't generally have time to work out in the morning. I work out in the afternoon/evenings. I do, however, prefer to work out in the morning (and I do on weekends), because I have so much more energy and feel great after a workout.0

On days that I don't work (sadface) I go in the afternoon because I like to watch Price is Right and get the errands/chorse done and I have zero energy in the morning, even after the pot of coffee.
On days that I do work, I go at night (8:30 or later) because the gym I go to is large but always very busy in the evening and I hate waiting for equipment. It dies down around 9pm though.
I could never work out in the morning, and those who wake up early to work out before work or their day starts are gods in my mind... how anybody can do that is beyond me!0 -
Thanks for all your replys.
Like most of you, I go when I can. Normally, I go between 5-6am. Days off - a little later.
I believe there's no right or wrong - just as long as we go - just whatever works individually -
Keep it up everyone!0
