The Dreaded F-Word: Fluctuation! [pix]

This is my weight, recorded semi-daily, over the course of the last 18 days.

My lowest is 169.8 and I really didn't want to see the 170s ever again. But, as we are all learning, that's just not the way bodies work. I've been on goal with my calorie net everyday except two days ago. And even then, I only ate "to maintenance" so a fat gain isn't the problem.

Just a reminder that fluctuations happen. I've been tracking my weight everyday for the last few months and the arbitrary ups and downs are shocking:

So don't let those temporary gains destroy your momentum. Unless you ate enough calories to actually gain fat, then it's just the body's natural fluctuation and it WILL go away. Keep your eyes on the long-term trends.
