Anyone else out there have trouble adapting to the 'new you looking back at you?" ??

I look in the mirror and can't believe what I see back.. most days.. I've lost net 70lbs and when I look in the mirror I don't recognize myself .. and it's kinda scary...

Anyone else with this problem or am I just nuts ?

That's one reason we got to be overweight. Denial.

Same here! Sometimes, I can't believe I have such pronounced collarbones or muscles in my biceps.

However, I'm way more critical of myself if I gain an inch or a few pounds.

    I guess that's why it's called "a journey".

    Congrats on your success!

I'm still getting used to it myself. But I'm liking what I see now though. Huge improvement over what I used to look at in the mirror.

Also, when I have "those days" where i feel fat or unattractive, I imagine the girl I used to be seeing the girl I am now. That puts it in perspective!
