I thought breasts were mostly made up of adipose tissue... And what happens when you lose weight? /tear
  • Pushups. My volleyball coach said it helped her. And if you have to work your way up, start on your knees. Good luck
  • i think the exercise where you take weights, lay on your back, and bring them up over your face with your arms straight out is good for that. any exercise that works your pectoral muscles should do the trick.

but i might have no idea what i'm talking about. just a suggestion haha, that's what i would do.

Apparently its normal, my sister experienced the same thing. Just keep it up, in time it all tends to tighten up and you'll look great :)

unfortunately there's no exercises for the skin, it is what it is. chest exercises will give them a little lift by making them appear higher, but the actual skin.....there's no going back ;( also, in time your skin might tighten up....

He's right...breasts are mostly adipose tissue. I'd suggest a REALLLLLY good push-up bra...

Sorry, there's nothing you can do for boob itself (besides implants and/or surger), however, you can strengthen your pecs and it might help to lift them a bit. I've breastfed 4 babies and lost weight so mine are like golf balls at the end of a sock. My husband lovingly refers to them as 'National Geographic' boobs.

chest fly's or push ups will help strengthen the muscle, therefore giving you the look of perkier girls, but nothing except implants or gaining weight will make the girls bigger, unforunately :(

doing upper body strength training has helped me in this area! I can tell a difference since I have been doing it. Chest presses help me best, or anything that builds up the pecs.... good luck!

Lay on your back, get two weights not too heavy and hold one in each hand. lay your arms out at your sides so you look like a T and raise up your arms to meet vertically. Should help at least a little
  • hmm mine just got perky with weight loss :O

i do lots of pushups and chest excises tho

I'm right there w/ you...after breastfeeding my baby for 9 months and losing almost 65 lbs since I was pregnant with her... my girls are hating it! I invested in an awesome bra from Belk, found it on sale w/ a coupon, got it for like 20 bucks, and my sister sent me a text the other day after seeing my before/after pics I posted (in m profile) and said I have to say your boobs look awesome lol...so they really don't..but w/ a great bra and a shirt over them you can't tell the difference :)

I'd have to say I've never noticed a difference since I started losing weight. They are still the same size. But I wear a good sports bra that prevents the girls from moving around.
  • Thank you all for your advice!
  • buy a really good bra.
  • buy a really good bra.

I do three different chest exercises and it seems to help. I do the chest incline to work the top chest muscles, chest decline to work the bottom and the chest fly that gives the cleavage better definition. It took about a month or two before I could see any results. Good luck!

This is an awesome thread. I had twins when I was 20 I went from a size C to a DDD litterally overnight. These baby's haven't been the same since :) I never thought about exercising to help them. I must try!!!

Oh you poor oblivious male! If you were female you'd understand how devastating this is!

The skin is a somewhat resilient material and may come back a bit, but...no promises there. Push ups and similar chest exercises will help tone the muscle that is beneath them, but as the breasts themselves are not muscle, there is no 'boob toning' really.

(Except a wickedly good bra! Yar!)
