Too much sugar?

I am on day 2 of my new healthier eating lifestyle........I am being good and marking down everything I eat and drink. However I am wondering if I am eating too much sugar and whether this will prevent weight loss.
My menu today was
apple, straw and melon with weight watchers yoghurt for breakfast
3 x salt and vinegar rice cakes, low fat jelly and 1 x meringue for lunch
Fruit salad and diet coke as a snack
thin steak, prawns and veg + 2 meringues for tea
I still have 200 calories left so will prob have a few biscuits before tea
anyone any views on whether this is too much sugar???
p.s. I know my lunch looks very small but I got up late so lunch and dinner were kind of together!!!

All I know is that I don't need to eat any sugar today because I feel like I have had sugar shoved down my throat all morning.0

Stay away from sugar as much as possible. Sugar is the enemy. I love sugar myself so I know how hard it can be.0

if most of the sugar came from the fruit not a big deal, yogurt's sugar could perhaps be reduced with a brand change or cutting it with greek yogurt...
I don't worry about what comes from my fruit, but added sugars yeah.0 -

Yes! Fruit has sugar, but is full of vitamins and fiber. You get so much out of fruit that is amazing! Sugar is just a carbohydrate and nothing to fear.0
