Do I have like super weak lungs or is this common? After an intense fast paced exercise My lungs get a little congested- always have. Drs have said my lungs are healthy. Am I not breathing enough or wrong or is this just common when not in top shape?

  • Could it be exercise induced asthsma? You could ask them to prescribe a mild inhaler, and see if that helps.

Sorry if this is gross, but do you mean like a phlegm buildup where you hack a little bit? I get that, too. Never really thought about it.

^^^^ agree^^^ - one of my best friends has exercise induced asthma. She takes an inhaler before any type of exercising.

If I do intense workouts it happens to me but I think it is when I am outside, I will have to pay attention next time. Good luck

I was thinking the same thing. I get that too when I work out very hard. I usually drink water and mine goes away.

Yep, same here. I just hack a bit when I'm exercising  when I'm done, I drink a lot of water and I'm fine.
