Hey everybody. Day 1 is almost over...well, really day three, but this is the most successful day yet. If I can just get through TV snack time with my hubby, I will feel great. I am a little over my calories for the day, but overall happy with my diet choices. That's a first for me. I really like the food diary feature on here. It helps. Good Luck to everyone else in meeting your goals!

Good job! Keep it up--you can do it!
I love the food diary too! I used to do it all by hand in a notebook, but it always got lost or I got lazy. With this online record, I don't have to worry about that!0 -
Welcome.....:flowerforyou: today I bought some 100 calorie packs of popcorn , I actualy only ate one pack and felt good:happy: Where as if I was to pop a large bag I would tempted to endulge. :drinker: Just a suggestion for your snack with your hubby. Good Luck!0

Thanks Everyone for the encouragement! I actually just popped a bag of smartpop.....but gave 1/2 to my kids. Woo Hoo, I saved 50 calories!..I have to admit, cleaning the house isn't so bad when you look at it as a calorie burner!0

Hi, I am new on here too. I honestly find it better to keep busy...I hardly watch TV anymore because it just makes me want to snack! I am also looking at things this time as a lifestyle change. I am definitely not on a diet, been there, done that! I have to get my health under control. By doing that, one of the bonuses is that I am losing weight!
I live in Canada and found out that OHIP covers the cost of seeing an RN who does supportive counselling for people with high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol. Our nurse is fabulous and has really helped me change my mind set.
I started watching my sodium intake about a month ago and I have lost 7.7 lbs!!!0
