On average, how many cals do you net?
Today, my net cals are like -25 at the moment. But I have eaten close to 1200 calories.
Is eating more necessary?

Your net calories should be 1200, you're starving your body0

You should be around 1200 net calories. You have to fuel your body.0

I eat 1200 calories on non workout days and eat as many as I need to to net 1200 on days I work out0

I typically net 1000-1100, but I'm only 5' tall so I feel like I can eat a lil less0

Yes. Eat more.
Your body needs energy (calories) just to function each day (you know, stuff like breathing, walking around, keeping your heart beating.....) before you even start exercising.
You just don't have to deprive yourself like this to lose wieght, it's not necessary and not healthy for the long term.
Ooops, forgot to answer your actual question!
I net around 1700 cals a day.
It used to be lower but rarely below 1450 and mostly between 1500 - 1600 NET calories.0 -
I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how my body can be starving--when I have consumed 1200 cals and do not feel hungry.0
