That's not a lot of calories each day. You may need to eat more.
  • your net calories are way, way too low. at least 1200 net a day. at least.

It does that. You may have hit a mini plateau. Change up your routine. Do a different exercise pattern, get another video. I did the same thing this past week and got a new video and it started going down again. Dont get discouraged, it's just the nature of the beast.

Oh and I just saw the calories...wowza! Listen to the ladies above me!
  • havnt you seen biggest loser? sometimes they hv huge losses others not so much. if you r walking 2 hrs a day you r building a ctrap ton of muscle. measure yourself!! bet ya lost inches
  • my guess is your body has started to put itself into starvation mode. it is holding onto every bit of nutrient that it can. And yes, like the others have said, change your routine up, your body has probably gotten used to that routine, give it a kick start again, change it up :)

Typical 5 week stall. So are you just dieting or are you exercising too and what are you doing if your are?

As you can see the previous weeks I did very well , and yes I watch the biggest loser . I'm a 52 yr old male , If I think my calories are to much for that day , I'll do a quick 30 minute walk before bed . I've lost 30 lbs but was very disappointed today when I weighed at my fitness center . Only 1 lb lost last 8 days

Im 6'4" .. My goal is to get to 225 to 230 then maintain that weight . I've lost some gut , I walk a lot . I play basketball , I don't eat fast food any more .and very little fried food . I'm getting my nutrition according to my charts. My calories are around 1500 to 1800 a day

You can get away with eating to little for a couple of weeks, but it catches up fast. And eating too little will force your body to use your lean muscle for energy before giving up fat. It's just the way the body works. Strength training retards the use of lean muscle tissue and helps to raise resting metabolic rate which uses fat as energy when you rest.

According to freedieting.com, your bmr is 2707 calories. And that's only if you're in a coma! Eat more and don't worry about how much weight they lose on the Biggest Loser. You live in the real world and not a tv show where they can skew the results.

Also, your magic number to not net below is 1500 and not 1200 since you're a male.
