Hi Everybody,

I do strength traing most days at my gym and what to know how many calories I burn. The usually strength training I do it: sit-ups, push ups, leg, press, leg raises, bicep curls, dead lifts and some other gym machines.

I am new to this website and am not sure how to add the calories burnt?

Does anyone know of a website that helps you work this out?

Much appreciated,

Jade :)

Strength training (weight lifting/ weight training) Its in the exercise database under cardio. It's probably the most accurate way to determine calories burned without a heart rate monitor!

I never booked calories burned during strength training before until I got a HRM. if you want to be more accurate I say go with a heart rate monitor.
  • hello jade,
this website ''myfitnesspal'', calculate it for you you just need to go to my exercise when you log in and chose the activity you used and the duration, it will calculate it for you and add it to your daily calorie allowance. you can also buy a small pediometre which get a censor to track your movement and calories.
    I hope that helped :)
