My NSV

I am having some scale victories recently but it's still hard for me to see the progress (I have a very distorted view of myself). But my pants can only be worn with a belt (just a smidge too tight in the tummy the next size down).
BUT.....today I put on a shirt that I bought at the beginning of the school year for work. It's a Lane Bryant size 14/16 and when I bought it I could see my tummy rolls. My hubby said it looked really cute but I was nervous about how tight it was but I got it cuz he liked it. When I put it on it fell down nicely over my tummy and barely showed my tummy rolls. I couldn't believe how much looser/not tight it is on me!!! Just had to share.
Tell me about your NSVs!!! The weather sucks outside so lets brighten up our days and encourage each other.

First of all WOW!!! Whoo Hoo!!!! Keep it up you are rocking! Anytime a shirt or outfit is looser is a total win!
Second, forgive my ignorance but does NSV mean Non Scale Victory? I'm new and the acronyms are somewhat confusing at times.0 -
That is great! It is SO much fun to notice "the little things" when you are losing weight - it gives you the resolve to keep on moving with it!
For me - being able to tuck a shirt in a few months back when I hit a size 12 without having "hangover." Being able to stretch out in karate class and touch my forehead to my knee - I never could before because of my belly roll, not because I wasn't flexible.
Buying a bra at Victoria's Secret and getting fitted for it because I'm a 36 now and not a 42 anymore!0 -
Congratulations on your NSV, every little bit counts
I know how that feels. I've been shrinking my "baby pouch" little by little, it feels sooooo goooood!!!0 -
That is a lovely NSV!
Mine's from yesterday. It was so cold out I put on my winter coat. Last year it fit but was very snug. Now it looks like too big.0 -
Great job! I can get my wedding ring and engagement ring on and off again. Still a little snug though, so I'm going to wait a bit before I wear it daily again!0
