Hey there

I am new here. I was wondering if any one knew the easiest way to add a boot camp to my daily dairy. We do so many things and we general work the whole body with a focus on a few areas. It is intense for most of the 45 minutes. I just started this exercise thing so i don't even know the names of what we are doing in class. Any thoughts? or average calorie burn.

Thanks

It really all depends. When I did bootcamp, I would burn between 600 and 900 calories for an hours class. That was when we pushed cars, ran stadiums etc. When I did weight lifting, only 400 to 500.

I've taken many different bootcamp classes and your calorie burn depends on the instructor and if you cheat and don't do the exercises properly. The bootcamp class that I take every M,W,F averages 600 calories for one hour, but most people in that class are super fit athletes that have been in this class for years so we do a lot of cardio and a lot of heavy weights.
See if anyone else has taken the bootcamp while wearing a heart rate monitor. You can adjust your calories from that, or get a heart rate monitor for yourself. After you put in your information it will tell you exactly how many calories you burned.

it really does depend. I had a hour bootcamp class last night where our whole thing was speed/agility, using my HRM I burned over a 1,000 calories.
