HRM Question

Hello,
I have a general question regarding heart rate monitors. Has anyone ever worn a heart rate monitor all day to see the amount of calories they burn on a normal day without exercising? I was thinking of doing that and using that number to estimate the number of calories I need to eat in order to lose more weight instead of the formula that is given by MFP.
Any ideas???/

I've read here that the HRM is only accurate when your HR is above normal so you wouldn't necessarily get an accurate reading. Don't know if it's true but that's what people around here say.0

Yup, HRMs aren't meant for all day use. You could invest in a BodyBugg though, that is meant for what you're looking for. I think they're kinda pricey though.0
