Loreal products tend to provide the best grey coverage I'm 33 and prem grey too, go for the new mousse colours they are gentle and cheap.

I am a hairdresser, and an honest one at that... (don't other hairdressers hate me for this)... Loreal Ferria is really good at covering gray hair. My mom has dark brown hair with resistant gray and I find that this covers the best. Just be sure when you do your touch ups that you don't overlap on top of your old color because that is when you start to get black ends instead of brown. It makes more sence for someone to color their own hair these days unless you are trying to remove color, change your color from one color to another. or if you have really messed it up or you want to have more than one shade like highlights or something. Good luck.. Hope this helps.

Thanks for chiming in on this.

I'm not terribly good at doing anything with my hair. I never blow dry, curl, or straighten. I usually just let it air dry and comb it out and put it up. Do you think I could still manage it on my own or should I go with something semi-permanent and less damaging so I can't screw it up as easily?

Semi permanent is okay but honestly most of the ones I have tried really are permanent and they don't seem to cover gray as well.

I like Perfect 10 and it is super easy to go on.
