Booty boosting moves?

Hey y'all!

Does anyone have any really cool low-impact moves for boosting the booty? When I get thinner, my booty tends to disappear into non-existant land, and I had a brilliant idea to start adding in some moves from now that will help to um, you know, keep a little junk in my trunk as I lose weight. :) Any tips appreciated! I am currently doing lots of walking--which should help--and 30 day shred/bootcamp videos.

Thanks!

Susan

Well.... either you do the hard work, or you don't get the booty. They're not free, ya know.

    Squats, squats, lunges, and squats.
  • My butt gets bigger when I use the Elliptical a lot. But then again I have the opposite problem. When I'm out of shape my butt flattens and when I'm in shape it bubbles out. When my fiance tells me my butts getting bigger it's a compliment.

YES! Squats! Love them. Have to earn a nice *kitten*

ALso I don't see how walking will help?

I am all about the booty! Squats, lunges, , leg lifts, butt bridge, stair master, elliptical...and the list goes on. There is a workout by Pauline Nordine called the Butt Bible. 20 minutes long. You can get it for free On Demand if you have Comcast cable. It's a great workout!

You can do deadlifts, squats, lunges, and you can go to this link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eohvFL_mZII My butt was gone too but I followed those.

Absolutely! Squats, check! Lunges, check! I actually like squats...Already doing those daily with 30ds and bootcamp. Still looking for some moves and variations to add--i.e. a friend gifted me with the "squat-kickback" move.

I actually did one of the Butt Bible workouts this morning. So..she did of course squats and lunges..regular and then "sumo squats" with your legs out really wide, toes pointing forward. And legs-together body weight deadlifts which seemed a little like a break to me. And tons and tons of tons of hip lifts. Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNqZZ_Mycwk but you can do them also with both feet on the ground.

    Good squat: http://www.youtube.com/user/diethealth#p/search/3/t6ZE3O6svwc

The single-leg deadlift, or as I call it, the Drinking Bird: http://www.youtube.com/user/diethealth#p/search/1/YMx4z7cnaUA

And the Butt Bible chick also did a lot of side leg raises, except instead of keeping both legs straight, the bottom leg is a little bent for stability, and the top/raising leg is out in front of you. Then do some with the raising leg bent and some with it straight. It felt weird but got a good burn going.

I've been doing squats and the barbel single-leg straight-leg deadlift. It's a really good one where you can feel your butt working like crazy once you can perform it correctly.
