NSV...ALMOST DEBT FREE

Technically when less stressed because of finances, it is suppose to be healthy for yah right!!! Also loose weight better when not concerned about money!!!

As of 30 minutes ago I received a settlement check that will make me ALMOST debt free by Friday morning!! No school loans, no credit card & no back taxes!!

The only debt, a small $100 car payment!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tongue: .

    Hey I guess that makes sense. I paid off a credit card on Monday and have lost 2 lbs since then. I guess I hadn't put the two together. lol ;)

    Oh yeah- sorry. Congrats on being debt free, I am working on that too. Must be a great feeling or at least you will know on friday! :)

    That IS a nice NSV. Nice going! It might loose weight sooner that being debt free but I do hope to get there sometime. Thanx 4 sharing!

    I know what you mean, I paid off 2 cards and started w/ MFP a week later. Definitely less stress and less stress eating! Now If I can just pay that other one off! :love:

    That's AWESOME! As an accountant, I don't know what I want more - to be skinny or debt free...both are VERY high on the list. Great job on your achievement!!

    I'm actually on the same path. Losing weight and debt. I really have to thank Dave Ramsey. He got me to start thinking of myself as the controller not the victim.

    unfortunately a car accident resulting in back surgery :-)
    But looking on the bright side of things!!
