Hey all!
Looking for new friends that are happy and healthy and motivitional! Will offer the same in return!
I figured a new way would be to share healthy, tasty... and CHEAP!!!
I'll start!
I have tons of easy and healthy recipies at home.. .but I'll start with really basic...
Roasted Asparagus:
Trim Asparagus (holding each end of the asparagus between thumb and forefinger, bend gently till it snaps... where it snaps is where you should cut the others to match the batch).
Place in bowl and coat in 2tbsp of pure olive oil.
Place on baking sheet evenly.
Sprinkle with cracked pepper, parmessan cheese and oregano to taste.
Bake in oven at 350 for 8-10 min.
Please add me as a friend and lets support eachother! Afterall, we're all here for the same reason... right??

Ok, I'll go next:
This works for a dessert or a low cal fruit option.
Four cups frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and water just covering it all in the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour in a 27-30 oz. container.
Each 9-10 oz. serving is about 150 calories.0 -
Oh yeah, and I LOVE asparagus, so I'll be cooking that in the next couple days. Thanks!0

Oooh that sounds gorgeous - am adding you now x
Here's my healthy museil bar - not sure where i got it from originally but it's totally delicious
2 cups of rolled oats
1/2 C shredded coconut and banana chips
1 C sliced almonds (or any other nut you like)
1/2 C bitter or semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 C dried cranberries
1 can fat free sweetened condensed milk
mix together and press into a foil-lined and sprayed 8 x 8 or 6 x 9 baking dish
bake at 350 for 30 minutes
let cool to room temp and put in fridge to harden - makes easier to cut!
cut into 16 bars or squares
Approx 250 calories per bar.0 -
These sound amazing! I can't wait to read more!!!!0
