For those who have done this, what equipment do you need?

And what sort of results did you get, especially compared to other DVDs like 30DS or P90X.

Thanks.

looooove it. On the Lean Circuit right now... it's kicking my booty.. ;) You can either use resistance bands, there is someone in every video doing so...or free weights...those select tech are awesome...but 3 or 400 dollars... i got 2 adjustable weight sets that go from 5-25 @ kmart awhile back that were $80 or so each.... I had a cheap set that was not adjustable quickly from target before that...that i added to to make two 30 pound sets...and I use those on a few where I've gone up... it's trully an amaaaaazing program. :)

I still have about 100 pounds still to lose, but i know it is helping me fit in smaller things... my body is a pain in the bum, so no weight loss right now... but i've fit smaller clothes..and lost 5 inches this past month, part of the Push month, and part of the Lean... go for it! :)

Thanks for the great reply. So dumbells are Ok, you don't need barbell? What sort of weight range is needed for the dumbells? Is it high rep stuff like 30DS or lower reps with higher weights?

I understand it to be higher weights with lower reps.

I'm looking to start it in the new year after I finish Turbo Fire.

I'm thinking I will use resistance bands, the select tech weights sound awesome- the price tag is way too awesome for me!

I'm doing Turbo Fire/ Chalean Extreme Hybrid. I'm on Week 3 of using Burn 1,2, 3. I use dumbbells, I use a set of 5, 8, 10. I want to get the Bow Flex Adjustable Weights but I don't have $400 right now lol.

    For Burn 1,2,3 it's 12 reps.

CX is a awesome program. I have the adjustable weigts that go up to 25 pounds and that is enough for me for right now. I am currently on my second round and if you look under my profile I have some pics in a bikini that are my results from the second half of the program. I think the one in the dressing room was about week 7 and the one in my daugher's messy bedroom is after. It truley has been a God send for me. I lost 24 pounds and 25" over the 12 week program.

By the way it is definately heavier weights fewer reps! Good luck!
