New to all the keeping track of what I eat, cals, carbs, fats, sugars, and salts. I over ate today and not the good foods, however I did do my daily workout and jog that I do every day (besides my 1 day break a week) will this cause me to gain weight "over night" and interrupt my weekly scale #??

On monday, for example, I went over on sodium by about 4k. I gained about 3 lbs over night. I no longer have those 3 lbs, thanks to watching my sodium and staying hydrated.0
