Thanks for sharing! I never thought of using mustard as the "sticky" for my oven baked chicken. I had been using olive oil or egg, but mustard would be much tastier!
  • This sounds yummy. I love both items, so Ill have to try this out!

sounds delish...you could actually substitute the bread crumbs for crushed cornflakes too :)

Try English Mustard. . . . it makes it a little spicy. You can all add some herbs to the breading to give it more flavor and keep it low calorie.

Very yummy! Thanks for sharing. I used to do a similar dish at a bistro I worked at once upon a time. We put panko and parsley in a food processor and blended it. Then we brushed lamp chops with mustard and then dredged them in the panko/parsley crumb and baked them.

    Another suggestion:

Mix a little Catalina/French dressing with the mustard with a tad of Worchestire sauce for a little kick!

mustard is awesome to use to hold on a breading material. i use crushed smartpop popcorn & a dijon mustard... sometimes on the 'breading' i add in crushed nuts as well for more protein (almonds are good and so are pecans)
