I have no problem treating myself to pizza or whatever once in a while. If you are within your calorie goal, go for it!0
-
Don't deny yourself cravings all the time. it makes resisting even harder. Just remember portion control (I like hawaiian style).0
-
Oh my, I know how you feel! Funny thing is you enjoying 2-3 slices will not kill you. It's good your exercising but don't over do it. I have lost 50 lbs this year and I enjoy pizza at least twice a month and have never gained one lb back! Good luck.0

Just control how much pizza you eat.. Have salad with it to help fill you up.0

Your "net" should equal your goal, just so you know. So you have about 1100 calories you can still eat today, which is about half of a DiGiorno Rising Crust Garlic Bread Pepperoni Pizza. No need to exercise any more.0
-
I make sure I do loads more exercise when my hubby has his bi-monthly pizza! You just don't feel so bad if you can stay within your calorie goal that way!0
-
Go for it! And, if you go over your calories for one day...it's no biggie! Tomorrow is a new day! We HAVE to treat ourselves every so often, or else we'll go crazy! ENJOY! Now I want pizza...0

Stay away from Pepperoni! Substitute the ham and load up on veggies! You will do great!0

you will have to look at Pizza differently. the old kind of oizza that you are use to is gone from my life. But I love pizza too So I make my own, using whole wheat crust, sugarfree sauce, turkey pepperoni, or sometime canadian bacon, you can use ground chicken or turkey, and low fat cheese. You would be surprized how good it taste. Lots better for you and tons less cals. and you won't have to kill yourself excersising just to have it. add a big salad and you have a great meal0

I like Kashi spinach and mushroom thin crust. I think it's 200-250 a serving which is 1/3 of the pizza.0

I don't think you need to kill yourself with so much exercise hon...you've probably burned enough calories already unless you plan on totally binging. And trust me, that's not a great idea. Once your body's used to healthier eating, if you try going overbaord, you'll probably get sick. So just try to eat healthy and light the rest of the day and I'm sure you'll do fine.
To give you a general idea, I eat about half of a Domino's medium hand-tossed crust pizza with green pepper and mushrooms once a week and that's about 800 calories. Try to find the pizza you plan on eating (or something similar) in the food database so you know how many calories you'll need.0 -
give into your cravings moderately- otherwise you feel deprived0

I love pizza too! I get domino medium pizz($5.99) I eat a 220 cal reakfast, 300 or so cal lunch and just budget 540 (2 slices) for dinner. I eat snacks too but I put the pizza in first so I can plan out my calorie day. HTH!0

It looks like you did enough exercise to not go over. Do This or add a serving of baby carrots on the side. Over time
you'll get used to not having more that a slice or two. The goal is not to eliminate yummy foods its to not go overboard
with them to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.0 -
Go for thin base spinach, mushroom and mozarella or something with a load of rocket on the side Nom.0

Hi Becca, I don't know if you went through with the Pizza cravings as I can't see your food diary...but, just an f.y.i. for next time...probably best to plan ahead so you don't stress yourself out on eating that item you want...
Also, I give into my cravings as well, ESPECIALLY, when my hubby is off..as he eats and craves things that are super loaded in cals....oh well..good thing I workout a ton..but besides the point...
We all need a break every now and then and so does our body...in order to move forward to keep losing weight...we have to confuse it sometimes to shake it up a bit, as our bodies tend to memorize the routine we do whether it be eating a certain way or working out a certain way..so maybe one week you decide your going to have a crazy day...that's fine..and get back to it the next day..and maybe the next week you switch up your workouts...whether it be all cardio, or just strength training or a mix up of both..just switching from week to week, keeps your body confused and you from getting bored as well....variety is the best!
Hopefully this helps!

^^^ This is what I usually do and it helps me a lot. I often make my own pizza as well, but once in awhile takeout pizza is a great treat to have. Just limit your amount of slices (I usually have two smaller slices these days or one big slice). Cooked veggies also work well with pizza.0 -
you're netting 100 cals... this is NOT a good thing.... eat the pizza!0
