Hi everyone,

I am always so tired and I haven't been able to lose ANY weight. I went to the doctor because I actually thought that something was wrong with me. I mean I could fall aslep on my desk all day, every day. I eat well, sleep well and exercise almost daily, so why? Anyone have any new ideas? I mean I can barely keep my eyes open. Has anyone else ever felt this way? Could it be stress (I am under A LOT)? I am so frustrated...:explode:

I honestly think there is something going around.
I have been feeling like this as well and so have several people I know.

Stress could be a factor but I say get as much rest as you can. :flowerforyou:

Your iron could be low. Do you take vitamins? B vitamins help with energy. Did your doctor check your thyroid?

    Couple of thoughts....
Any chance you're pregnant? My only indication of being pregnant for the first 2 1/2 months was that I was exhausted - well, and the missing period.. lol

Depression? Stress can lead to depression and depression will make you very tired - especially if the rest that you're getting is truly restful.

    Do you feel sick otherwise?

What did your doctor say when you talked to him?

Well...I was feeling very tired almost as much as you...not quite as bad, my Dr. checked my Iron level and it was extremely low...He put me on some Iron Pills and I am starting to feel a lot better more energy. You should have your Dr. check your Iron Level...It's not a big deal they just take some blood and the results should come back same day or the next day.

Thank for the suggestions, but I did have all the bloodwork done and everything came back normal. And I don't think I'm just sick-this has been going on for a couple of months now-probably 3. UGH!

do you snore at night? it can cause you to not sleep restfully due to lack of O2. i have hypothyroidism(slower metabolism) and it causes me to be very tired(nap daily) and lose weight extremely slow, I had it in jr. high and it went away and then went to a thyroid specialist after dr's kept telling me it was fine and she ran more in depth tests and it was low, so don't be afraid to push to get some answers. search online medical sites for possibilties that seem reasonable to your symptoms and then bring them up to your dr to be tested. you shouldn't be that exhausted unless there was something. good luck.
  • Have you tried a detox or cleansing ?? Yogi makes a great detox tea and there are great 7-14 day detox/cleansing options in the nutrition section or vitamin-type stores. B12 really helps me as well (natures anti-depressant). I wish I could sleep well through the night though :(

Have you slacked back on your water intake? Silly as it sounds being dehydrated can cause you to be tired.
