anyone make meatballs? do you bake them (if so how long?) or cook them in a skillet (again- how long)? Ive only tried making them once before (i tried in a skillet) and it seems like i cooked them FOREVER and they still didnt get cooked all the way through.

what do you season them with?

thinking of making homemade spaghetti & meatballs for dinner tonight.

1 pounds ground beef (lean) or ground turkey
    1 egg, beaten
1/2 (or more to get the right consistency) of oatmeal, crushed crackers, or bread crumbs
    1 tsp garlic powder
1/4-1/2 cup chopped onion (dry or fresh)
    S & P to your liking
    1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
    couple of splashes milk

Mix all ingredients. Form in 20 balls. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

I usually brown them in a skillet and then finish them in the oven.
