Hi all,

I just finished the 30 Day Shred and I am trying to decide which of Jillian Michaels' other DVDs to try next. I have 6 Week 6 Pack, Banish Fat - Boost Metabolism, and No More Trouble Zones. Has anyone tried these? I'm curious how they compare to the shred, and to each other, in terms of difficulty etc. I'd like to start with the easiest of the three if possible!

Cheers :)

I've tried them all. They are much more of a challenge than the 30DS, mostly because they are longer but she incorporates a lot of different moves. And despite the name 6 week 6 pack, there are a lot of full body moves, it's not just ab work. Try them all!

I finished 30ds on Wednesday. Have just started no more trouble zones. Quite a big jump going from 20 mins to an hour but love it! Could never have done it without doing 30ds first. Have also just got the yoga one so will be trying that too :-) good luck.

Try and get all three if you can. They are all equally great! All of her stuff is hard but she's very encouraging and you can do it.

depends on what you want to work! No More Trouble Zones is more muscle pain..lol! Banish Fat Boost Metabolism will take your breath away from getting the heart moving! and I don't know about Six Week Six Pack. I love the other two though.

The easiest would be 6week6pack - it's only 30mins just like Shred and has similar moves.

NMTZ is like Jillian took all the strength moves and ab work from Shred (plus a few extra) and put them in one workout. It's tough and it's my favourite Jillian workout. To make it easier just do each circuit ONCE.

BFBM has all the cardio moves from Shred with a bit of core work. It's mostly high impact and it's my least favourite Jillian - my knees don't like all those jumping moves.

I've yet to try NMTZ but I've done BFBM and 6w6p a few time since I finished the shred.

BFBM is mostly cardio and is pretty challenging. There are 7 circuits of 2X5 moves and the whole workout lasts 54 min including warm-up and cooldown. She does a lot of classic moves like burpees, side crunches, butt kicks, jumping jacks... and there's a circuit that focuses on core (with some of the plank moves you did on the level 2 of the shred). I did it earlier today and it pretty much killed me, lol!

6w6p is less cardio and more strength training focusing on core. It's no more than 35 minutes (incl warm-up and cooldown) and she does a series of 12-15 (?) exercises twice.

Thanks for the replies everyone - I think I might try to get them all into my rotation :)

Those are all great. IMO they are harder than the shred. I would swich days on BFBM and NMTZ. BFBM is cardio and NMTZ is strentgh. 6 week 6 pack is not all abs...There is cardio in it and it's tough.

I finished the shred 2 weeks ago and now, I try to alternate between several of Jillian's workouts:

    Mon: RI30 or 6w6p
    Tue: BFBM
    Mon: RI30 or 6w6p
Thur: Leslie Sansone, Turbo Jam or one of exercisetv videos
    Fri: Mon: RI30 or 6w6p
    Sat: BFBM
    Sun; Rest!
