I was told I need to watch how much sugar I take in a day, or at least lower it. I am having a really hard time, heck I ate some grapes today and almost used my whole allotement of sugar in that one cup of grapes. I thought fruit was suppose to be good for you??? Any ideas? Also many grams of sugar a day should a person have?

my dietician told me not to worry so much about fruit sugars, and just limit added sugars to ~30 grams0

If you are going to eat fruit, choose a fruit that is higher in fiber. You are still going to get the natural sugars. Also, avoid fruit juices. If you increase your fiber intake throughout the day you should see a difference in your sugar levels.0
