hey all,
so i was REALLY hungry and decided screw it i'm gonna eat anyway, now I am over my calories by 500 but it is supposed to be my one rest day for this week.
is it okay to go to the gym even though it will mean i have gone 7 days in a row?

Go for a jog or walk if you really feal you need to lose it no need for running walking and running burn the same amount of calories .
Hope that help0 -
I agree just go for a walk or a slow jog. Nothing to hard core0

Remember to lose one pound you have to have a deficit of around 3500 cals, so if you were down one day then you can make it up another day and vice versa. Have you hit exactly your target every day?, I sometimes do not eat my quota and some days I do.,
I would not worry about one day, Just enjoy it, I have a a cheat day once a week. Relax and enjoy it x0 -
you need to give your body a rest. A walk is ok, but I wouldn't go to the gym.
and as for the cals, well think of it by the end of the week to be under.0 -
Rest day... you'll make up for it later in the week ... swing and round-about.0

Saturdays are my "cheat" day. I still log what I eat, but don't beat myself up for being over. (I had a blizzard yesterday) then today I'll get right back on track. They say having one or two higher calorie days is actually good because it shocks your system so it doesn't get use to one set calorie range. I eat all my calories a day or two a week and then eat under the rest. It's basically just caloie cycling so your body doesn't get set to one thing.0

took me 15mins to find it, but have a look at this

I look at my calories when I have days like this, over the week. 500 extra today? was I under by 100 on at least 5 days? if yes..its ok. But that's me. I'm also trying to stagger my 'rest and repair' days - I get bored easily.
YMMV0
