How heavy are your weights for the 30DS?. Was wondering if its okay to use 10lb weights? I dont really get much out of lifting anything lower than that.

I have a set of 5lbs weights. That's been good for me b/c I had no arm strength to start. It was little too heavy in the beginning and I couldn't complete a few of the reps but now I can do all of them though it's still a bit of a challenge. I'm still pretty weak in the arms but I do have a little definition in my arms now and I've never had that in my life.

I only have 3lbs, I have seen all the levels and with my weak lil arms I am pretty sure the other workouts are going to be extrememly difficult for me even with the 3lbers LOL
  • i use 5s, 10s and 15s depending on the exercise. just do whatever challenges you.

I too have 5lb weights. And like the other person said, they were a little heavy at first but I got used to them. I suppose it would be up to you if you wanted to use 10 pounders. Good luck!

Maybe you should do Ripped in 30 instead?

I normally use my 5lb weights but have started using 8lbs for some of the exercises (I am on level 3) If you feel comfortable using 10lb weights...I say go for it!
