New to MFP

Hi everyone :) I'm getting in shape (trying to anyway) for my wedding this April! I am hoping to lose 30 pounds. A friend told me about MFP and it was really eye opening tracking calories (and shocking how many calories are in things too!). I bought a gym pass 2 weeks ago and have been working out 4-5 times a week, and now using MFP on my phone. What a great app! It's so great to see all the support and success stories! Good luck to everyone out there :D We can do it!!

    It sounds like your already off to a great start! Keep this attitude and I'm sure you can lose 30 lbs before April. I've lost 34 lbs since Aug 9th so if I can do it, I'm sure you could. ... I like food...

  • Wow! So many people have lost weight so quickly! What's your trick? Or is really just sticking to your calorie intake and cardio workouts? Congrats on the weight loss! This is such an awesome site and the community is great! :D Hopefully next week I can update with a bigger weight loss!
