Hi Everyone! My name is Andrea. I'm 29 and live in southern California. So about 10 weeks ago I rejoined Weight Watchers. This is my second time on the program. Well after 10 weeks of following the program I haven't been seeing the exact results I've wanted. So my boyfriend suggested MFP as he has been using for a couple of weeks now. Last week was my first official week using MFP while attending my Weight Watcher meetings. I'm hoping to see some weight loss at my weigh in this Tuesday.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday and keep tracking.

Andrea

Good luck! I can't speak for everyone, but just by counting my calories and planning my food around that has helped me lose a good amount of weight. :) I hope it helps you too! <3

I've never used weight watchers, but I LOVE MFP. I have lost almost 20 pounds by using this site. I admit, I am not the healthiest eater, but it has made me so much more aware of portion sizes and how much I need to eat and exercise to lose weight. MFP is a great tool, and also my fiancee has lost 65 lbs by using MFP.

Hi! WeightWatchers is a great program: I once lost 20lb on it. But I didn't like having to pay a membership fee, nor am I really a meeting person. I'm finding myself opening up much more here on MFP than I ever did in all those WW meetings. So WW is great but it wasn't the fit for me. If it's the fit for you, more power to you! And welcome! :)

My wife is a member of WW and I'm using MFP. Double tracking might be confusing because WW doesn't track fruits and vegetables the same way. She writes down EVERYTHING and enters it into the WW online database tracker (phone/web) and has had excellent success.
I do find that MFP database has more "food" data than WW. However WW has a way to translate calories into points.

I've never used WW and probably never would as they seem to dumb down the process of getting healthy, focus too much on weight, and of course, take your money.

I've lost all my weight through diligent tracking of nutrition and exercise with the support of MFP and the people here.

Yeah, I have found the same problem. The difference between the points plus system and MFP is quite different. I know I need the meetings though as a way to be accountable. At least for now! It's great to hear your wife is having so much success. That's my goal.

Hey there! I'm trying to be consistent doing the same thing. I still really like WW....and I don't have a scale at home!
