So i bought a hula hoop a while ago because i heard its really good for your abs. I used it a couple of times but then i lost it...its really weird but i cant find it.
Anyway, i got it at target in the kids section because they didn't have any in the fitness section and they were all pretty light. Does anyone know where i can get a cheep one that is more heavy or is there a certain kind i should get?

    Etsy.com has some great hoops! I bought mine on there for about $25. They are heavier and bigger than the kids ones and easier! Plus you can get them all decked out to what you want! I love mine :)

    look for a hooping class near you. there are often belly dance/hoop fusion or fire/hoop fusion groups around. Many of the teachers will sell you a hoop. They are much heavier than the kid hoops -- you can't really get a workout with the kid hoops.

    @psmd - im pretty sure it was one of my sisters >.< lol

    @leach2001 - i've been looking at the ones on etsy... but it says the shipping is like $10 and i dont even have 20 for a hoop yet :p. i guess i just need to hurry up and get a job.
